Q: How often is Saltscapes published?

Saltscapes is published seven times per year. Six regular issues and an annual Food & Travel Guide. Also included in your subscription is the specialty publication - Good Taste.

Q: When does each issues come out?

Each issue of Saltscapes is scheduled to mailed in the first month of the issue date. (Actual mailing dates may vary by a few days/week):
• February/March - February
• April/May - April
• Food & Travel Guide - May
• June/July - June
• August/September - August
• October/November - October
• December/January - December and a second mailing to Holiday Gifts and new subscribers late December

*Please note: Newsstand copies are generally available in-store before subscriber copies have been delivered.

Q: How long does it take to get my issue through the mail?

Good question! Here are Canada Post's delivery guidelines

Delivery standards are estimates of how long it will take your mail to be delivered. Delivery standards are not guaranteed by Canada Post but are generally:

Local (within Halifax regional Municipality)

3 business days*

Within Nova Scotia

4-5 business days*

Across Canada

4-13 business days*

*Please note Canadian shipping could take up to 6-8 weeks, depending on time of year and other shipping and production requirements.

USA and international subscribers, yours takes longer to deliver (up to 8-10 weeks) - thank you for your patience.

HINT: Make sure we have your email address and we will send you the digital edition as part of your subscription. That way, you can begin reading while waiting for your print copy to arrive in the mail.

Q: Can I convert my print subscription to a digital subscription?

Yes! Send us an email and we will send the remaining issues of your print subscription digitally.

Q: Can I get a refund on my subscription?

Subscriptions are non-refundable. If a subscription needs to be cancelled, where applicable, credits can be applied to other Metro Guide Publishing titles or transferred to a new gift subscription. Please note that each circumstance is unique and election to make an offer in one instance does not create obligation to do so in another.
