  • 1/2 lb (250 g) smoked pork chop ends
  • 1 Jonagold apple, cored and segmented
  • 2 sprigs fresh parsley
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) butter
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) port
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) pepper
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) mayonnaise
  • Bread or crackers


Place all ingredients except bread in a food processor and pulse until smooth; scrape sides with a spatula as necessary. Place in a serving dish and refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve as a spread with bread or crackers. Makes 4-6 servings.
