Adopted Nova Scotian PDF  | Print |

Although I was born in Ontario, I call Nova Scotia home. My husband is from Wedgeport, NS, a small Acadian community outside of Yarmouth, and we have been going there for holidays since we were married, 26 years ago. I’m always amazed at how people down east are willing to stop and take the time to talk to you, make you a cup of tea or invite you to stay for a meal. Even walking down the main road can be punctuated with many chats. I wish to thank the people from this wonderful community for making me feel at home. We have subscribed to Saltscapes for many years—thanks for helping us keep in touch.
