It is VERY IMPORTANT to read this information to ensure you are aware of the policies

Event Food Sampling & Selling at Exhibition Park
For any exhibitor who is SELLING or SAMPLING a food or beverage product that will be consumed onsite during the show and is considered a meal or in direct competition with Exhibition Park's available concessions, Exhibition Park has a user fee. This is only applicable to portions that are over 2 ounces. If you are selling or sampling a food or beverage product that is 2 ounces or less, no fee will be applied.
The over 2 ounce selling and/or sampling fee is $200/day + HST. For more information and to advise Saltscapes Expo in advance of your participation, please contact Sandie Currie at scurrie@saltscapes.com. Saltscapes Expo reserves the right to monitor food and beverage sampling and selling portion sizes.
Government Food Regulations at Trade Shows
Exhibit Space rental fee includes:
- a listing in the Show Directory (both print and online)
- standard booth drapery
- grey carpet
- 6' table
- 2 chairs/10x10 space or 1 chair/5x10
- 1 electrical outlet (15 amp).
Name Badges: a 10x10 booth receives up to 6 name badges / a 5x10 booth receives up to 4.
For additional badges, there is a fee of $5 per and must be paid upon request.
Electricity: for additional electrical needs or to find out what a 15 amp can hold, please contact info@soundsystemsplus.com (or see Sound Systems Plus' info in the Exhibitors Kit).
Furniture: for additional furniture rental needs or information, please contact aundrea@legaultcompanies.com (or see Legault Companies' info in the Exhibitors Kit).
Set up / Tear Down / Shipping Information:
- Large Exhibits can be set up on Wed, April 25th from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
- All Exhibits must be set up on Thurs, April 26th from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
- Last minute set up is on Friday, April 27th is from 8:00 am - 10:00 am and MUST BE approved first by Saltscapes Expo Management. Anything being set up on this day will have to be carried in as no dollies or carts are allowed on the aisle carpet - NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Exhibitor Tear Down is on Sunday, April 29th from 5:00-10:00pm and Monday, April 30th from
8:00am-12noon.
SHIPPING:
Items should not be shipped any
earlier than Monday, April 23, 2012.
Ship material to Exhibition Park
(200 Prospect Road, Halifax, NS, B3T 1P2, Canada - Attention: Saltscapes Expo, tel: 902-876-8221) and make sure every
item / box is very well labelled - on the outside of each box it needs to
say your company name, your contact name, and your booth # (which we will have in
April). Someone from the Saltscapes team will deliver them to your booth.
If you wish to have boxes sent in advance,
they can be addressed to Legault's offices but you will be charged for storage
(this information is also in the Exhibitor Kit).
For boxes you wish to have sent back when
the Expo is over, you need to fill out the weigh bills, have our shipment all
ready and the courier called with arrangements to pick them up
from Exhibition Park on Monday, April 30th. Saltscapes Expo only has the space until Monday at 12pm, so
they need to be collected before then.
Requirements for Forklifts / Scissorlifts / Hanging Banners or Signs from Ceiling:
Should you require items to be hung, large exhibits requiring forklifts for transport, etc., please be advised exhibitors must order this service in advance to ensure we are able to accommodate the request.

Located at 200 Prospect Road,
Exhibition Park is located just 15 minutes from downtown Halifax and less than
2 minutes from Bayers Lake Business Park enroute to scenic Peggy's Cove.
Via Armdale Rotary

Proceed to Armdale rotary, exit onto the St. Margaret's Bay Road.

Follow this through until making a left onto Prospect Road.

Exhibition park is a short way up this road on your left.
Via Bedford Highway/MacKay Bridge

Proceed to the Joseph Howe Drive exit off the MacKay Bridge or Bedford Highway.

Follow Joseph Howe Drive until you come to the exit for HIghway 102 and turn right.

Take Exit 2B and follow the Peggy's Cove Road sign onto Prospect Road.

Exit on your left to Exhibition Park.
